The company says ‘Vend Ecommerce’ will allow traditional retailers to set up an online store in minutes.
Inventory, sales and customer information will sync across the retailers’ physical and online stores, allowing retailers to manage online and offline channels of their business in one place.
The software is mobile-friendly and can be customised with different design templates.
This is the company’s first move towards an omnichannel solution. It previously predicted omnichannel to be one of the top trends in retail in 2015.
Founder of CEO of Vend, Vaughan Rowsell, says omnichannel is the biggest trend transforming the retail industry right now.
“We want to make it easy for retailers to take the step from brick and mortar to online, and remove the aspects that seem scary, like web design, or how to keep track of inventory across multiple stores and channels,” Rowsell says.
“Ecommerce is a natural step for us with the POS and business services we already have, but we won’t be stopping here.”
“We’ll be adding more features and functionality in the coming months, and building out other products that can help retailers give their customers an amazing shopping experience, no matter how or where they shop.”

The software is available from today and the company is offering a free trial until May 31.
