More women are in the small business space, but equality isn't yet in sight

More women than ever are owning and operating businesses in Aotearoa – but there’s still a ways to go to achieve equality. The latest MYOB Women in Business Survey shows that women now make up 44 percent of small to medium business owners. The number is up from 30 percent in 2012.

Rise in support from business owners for online GST reform

A survey by MYOB has found that 36 percent of Kiwi business owners would vote in favour of lowering the GST threshold on online purchases from overseas sites. This is a jump from its September 2014 survey, where 25 percent of businesses supported it.
