Shop window design competition puts students in the spotlight
A Christmas-themed shop window from Selfridges London.

More than 50 students from AUT will be unleashed upon the shop windows of selected retailers in Auckland’s Newmarket shopping district as part of a competition led by AUT, Spaceworks Design Group and the Newmarket Business Association. The winning student will score a two-week internship at what’s been described as the best department store in the world – Selfridges London.

New retail qualification shows retail is for life, not just for Christmas
Z and ServiceIQ's class of 2015

Over 300 Z Energy service station staff are the first “students” to graduate with a brand new level three New Zealand Certificate in Retail through industry training organisation Service IQ. The certificate was developed by Kiwi-owned Z Energy and ServiceIQ to promote the idea that retail is a career path, rather than a temporary gig.
