Petrol company Z Energy has been cleared by the Commerce Commission to acquire the owner of rival gas stations Caltex and Challenge. Z owns just over 200 service stations and supplies a few more independently-owned stations which bear its branding, while Chevron supplies around 150 Caltex-branded service stations.
Global barcode and product identification company GS1 has announced it is to acquire product photography company Images in Space Ltd. Images in Space supplies digital photography and image management to many FMCG manufacturers and retailers operating in New Zealand, including supermarket owner Foodstuffs.
