Auckland’s up and coming downtown precinct Commercial Bay has announced more international retailers opening first stores in New Zealand.
Precinct Properties, the city-centre specialists behind the development, have today announced a mix of first-to-market and established local fashion favourites as part of the highly anticipated retail line up coming to Commercial Bay in 2019.
New to market entries include French fashion labels Sandro and Maje, while Dior perfume and beauty will be opening its first boutique in New Zealand.
Other international brands joining the Commercial Bay offering include American handbag and accessories designer, Kate Spade New York, luxury fashion house Hugo Boss, Italian leather goods brand Furla and Australian footwear designer, Wittner Shoes with its first Auckland store.
Precinct Properties’ CEO, Scott Pritchard, says the company is committed to delivering a world-class lifestyle precinct that is truly unique destination for Kiwi shoppers.
“Our goal at Commercial Bay is to ensure the fashion, and food and beverage offerings available contribute to making it the most transformational project Auckland has ever seen. We’ve worked closely with our leasing partners, Match, who have carefully curated the offer and we’re thrilled with the fashion brands that have committed to Commercial Bay. Aucklanders will be able to enjoy a reinvigorated city centre shopping experience like no other later this year.
“As well as the establishment of first to market international brands, we’re really proud to support Kiwi fashion brands making their mark on Auckland city centre retail. We’re passionate about creating a precinct that helps local retailers expand their footprint and rub shoulders with some of the world’s most popular high-end brands,” says Pritchard.
