Krispy Kreme to open a concept store in New Zealand

For the first move worldwide, American doughnut chain Krispy Kreme is launching a first ever concept store in Auckland’s central business district.

Due to open late November of this year, the concept store is set to be a more sensory experience than its flagship location located out in Manukau. The outside is set to resemble a Krispy Kreme box, with its red and green dots. According to the brand, the inside of the store is set to amaze customers with a ceiling of sprinkles, neon lighting and a giant pink doughnut seat.

Dubbed the ‘Kaleidoscope’ store, Auckland was chosen as the new location for this concept as an innovation hub for food and Kiwi’s unmissable excitement for international dessert options.

Antonio Rivera,  New Zealand retail manager, can’t wait for Kiwi customers experience the store first-hand.

“New Zealanders have embraced Krispy Kreme with open arms from our first store launch in Manukau and we can’t wait to spread more smiles as we move into the CBD. The whole Krispy Kreme world will be watching when the new store opens, and lucky Aucklanders will be the very first experience it.”

The store is located in Chancery Square, joining its Manukau and Auckland Airport sister locations - Yet is not 24/7 unlike its Manukau location. However, the new CBD location also means the dessert option will now be available for closer areas on Uber Eats.
