Skechers collaborates with Shopkins

Skechers shoes has announced the latest collaboration for its kids wear range, this time partnering with collectable toy stock units, Shopkins. 

The small toys known as Shopkins are made by Moose Toys, and are grocery themed collectables that come in different ranges of rarity. Now the small collectables have partnered with Skechers, creating a shoe that is decorated with Shopkin characters.

“With Shopkins in demand across Australia, Skechers is extremely excited to expand its awardwinning Skechers Kids shoe line with these adored characters,” Skechers head of Australia marketing, Deena Colman said. 

“Shopkins co-branded shoes will be the perfect fit for girls who already love wearing our playful, colourful and comfortable footwear. Countless young girls throughout Australia are big fans of the Shopkins characters, so this collaboration is a great way to add some fun to the back-to-school season. This is the footwear that girls won’t want to take off and it is sure to be a big hit on the playground!”

Established two decades ago, the Skechers Kids collection offers the perfect shoe range for toddlers to tweens, with fun, bright and lightweight designs that children everywhere love for both school and play.

Military-style semi-automatics ban announced

As of 3pm on March 21, a wide range of semi-automatic weapons have been reclassified under section 74A(c) of the Arms Act as requiring an E endorsement on a firearms license. This means they can no longer be sold to those with A-category gun licenses, and their purchase now requires police approval.
