Swedish fashion chain H&M has officially opened its Wellington store. The opening comes as the retailer also releases its latest collaboration with Erdem.
The Queensgate location was where the crowds of over 600 gathered on Halloween at six in the morning to secure a space in line.
The store sits two stories at a comfortable 2,700 square metres and includes all of H&M’s collections, including its new homewares concept.
The opening comes as the chain releases its long waited latest collaboration with high profile designer, Erdem. Unfortunately for those lined up outside in Wellington, the new collection is available in Auckland only.
London fashion house Erdem is known for its floral designs and classic takes on new silhouettes.
While the clothes feel completely representative of the fashion house, thankfully, the prices aren’t. (Erdem’s main line can boast price tags upwards of $3,000 for a floor-gazing dress.) Instead, the collection ranges in price from $35 for a T-shirt to $299 for a long-sleeved, high-neck black lace dress.
The collection is available in store as of November 2 and only in limited quantities at H&M Sylvia Park.
