New Zealand shoe brand Deuce Sneakers has launched its very first brick and mortar store with a pop-up location in Newmarket.
Now Deuce have embraced this whole-heartedly to launch their new spring/summer 2017 range.
Happy to finally have a space of its own, until now the brand has sold strictly through online and stockists such as Merchant 1948, formally Overland.
Now the brand has created a “sleek, streamlined interior for our new space.” Located on the corner or Teed Street and Broadway, where David Lawrence was found before its closure in February of this year.
Deuce sneakers are designed within the Auckland studio, where prototypes are also created.
Unlike going through stockists which may limit the items in the collections its choses to stock, the pop-up store enabled the brand to showcase its entire collection.
“We’ve curated all our best women’s and men’s sneakers and put them under one roof,” says the website. “We’ve even designed a selection of styles exclusively for the pop-up.”
The simplistic design of the pop-up store communicates the brand well, as Deuce designs often focus on simple looks and high quality materials.
The pop-up store opened yesterday to anticipating customers, while the brand offered $50 vouchers for the first 20 people through the door.

The new store also gives the brand a chance to share the message of their charity initiative. Since 2014, Deuce has been donating $5 from every purchase to its charity the Young Hearts Project to support and empower young Kiwis. To date they have raised over $900,000 for this worthy cause. The store even offers customers a glimpse of their contribution through an interactive feature wall.
