H&M sets Wellington opening date

H&M has officially announced its opening date for its Wellington location. The Queensgate Shopping Centre will be the site of New Zealand’s third H&M location this October.

The launch of the Swedish fashion retailer will be on October 26 - and if the two-previous opening are anything to go buy then the launch will see a large turnout of dedicated shoppers.

Christchurch got H&M’s first South Island store earlier this month, now the fashion chain is moving quickly as it opens its third store in the capital.

Spanning 2,700 (200 bigger than Christchurch’s store) square metres and set over two levels; the much-anticipated store will offer an exceptional shopping experience by showcasing apparel, underwear and accessories for Men, Women, Kids and Baby, as well as the Home concept which recently launched in H&M at The Crossing, Christchurch.

Hans Andersson, Australia and New Zealand country manager for H&M, says the expansion is an exciting time for the company.

“We look forward to meeting our H&M customers in the country’s capital and engaging them with our wide range of offerings.”
