In the latest, and the greatest way to announce a new store, Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar has hidden giant megapuffs around New Zealand.
The popular store, which operates out of 309 Karangahape Road, is launching its third store. But where is yet to be revealed.
The store has hidden six giant megapuffs around New Zealand, posting two clues a day until Wednesday on their Facebook page.
The new location will be written on the six megapuffs, which will reveal where the store will be on Wednesday of this week.
The Facebook describes the giant puff as “An original Griffin's Mallowpuff incepted inside a Giant Moustache Mallowpuff incepted inside A MEGA MALLOWPUFF THE SIZE OF YO' FACE. MUCH YUM. MUCH RARE.”
So far two megapuff’s have been found, one in Kaitaia, and the second in Auckland’s Aotea Square.
Each clue posted on their Facebook page comes with a photo and a written hint. The Auckland one was,
“Lets journey back to where it began,
21 years old with keys in my hand.
Opened the doors of this milk & cookie bar,
People scoffed "You won't make it far".
While the original store's no longer there,
At our beloved beginning, the Megapuff hides near.
or be Square.”
Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar closed its Wellesley address in 2016, only to open up shortly after at the K Road address.
Owned by Deanna Yang, the self-entitled “chief cookie operator” bought and old school food truck to operate out of after her rent was due to spike 40 percent.
So the young entrepreneur bought a 1978 "old-school Bedford school bus" and kitted it out with a commercial kitchen capable of pumping out twice the number of cookies her old store could.
Now the 25-year-old is working on opening her third store and having a lot of fun in the process.
