Grabone introduces ‘flight bundles’ to boost holiday selling

Popular curating site Grabone has added flight ‘bundles’ to its accommodation and holiday sector.

Grabone was launched in 2011 and since then has dominated the industry with its offered deal and reputation of being one of the most trustworthy discount sites.

Now the website has holiday bundles, targeted at people looking for a getaway but looking for an all-inclusive deal.

Kirsty Cardy, Grabone head of commercial opportunities, has been working on the developments for the new model ‘escapes vertical’

“We’ve previously been limited in our ability to offer flights. Because the consumer journey with booking multiple segment’s, insuring availability with the airlines and hotel. But we’ve put together a solution that allows and facilitates that, in a once touch point for the customer.”

Cardy states that the new vertical is important to the site as the packages are an invaluable experience they are able to offer their customers.

“We’ve started offering really comprehensive packages to exotic destinations, luxury travels, flights and accommodations included. So there is a really lot of exciting stuff happening there in the escapes vertical as well.”

Grabone has a select team on the ground that are responsible for tracking down the best flights and destinations available.

“We find that we’ve got a great team that are skilled at finding great destinations and that can be seasonal, it can be what’s on trend it can be a large event that’s happening either domestic or internationally,” Says Cardy, “And a lot of consumers go to Grabone escapes as a bit of an inspiration tool.”

“Some customers won’t even think about going somewhere until they see it on Grabone, so now we are able to package those with the flights.”

Although the site is meant to increase and grow with the new change, the Grabone customer experience will remain a top priority.

“It’s all about customer service, all about delivering the ease of use, making it simple for the customer.”
