Over Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th of February, AUT is hosting a free ethical trade conference, fully funded by the Fairfield Charitable Trust.
The Fairfield conference is aiming to assemble all those who share an interest in ethical trade a tool for social justice, to reduce poverty and restore relationships between developing country producers and first world consumers.
They aspire for the attendants to leave the conference feeling encouraged and motivated by Corporate Social Responsibility and other ethical business practices; to learn how they can make a difference themselves.
Through exceptional speakers from New Zealand and beyond, seminars, participatory workshops, a vibrant marketplace and documentaries, the conference will explore different approaches, models, issues and strategies.
Lunch and refreshments will be offered for all those who register for the event.
