One of New Zealand’s leading banks have just introduced the latest addition to their extended range of cards in partnership with the popular Air New Zealand Airpoints loyalty programme.
The Airpoints Business Mastercard includes a range of benefits when customers spend money. Westpac suggests the card is best suited for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs), sole traders and partnerships.
“However, one stand out for us is the ability for small business owners to continue earning their favourite type of reward, without having to lump all of their business spend on their personal card,” says John Machell, Head of Hospitality, Tourism and Retail Trade for Westpac.
“All spend on allocated staff Airpoints cards will also earn our business owners Airpoints Dollars – all while keeping expense records tidy and separate from any personal spend.”
Customers can earn Airpoints for every $85 they spend, and earn one status point for every $225. For customers who also travel for work, they’ll get to earn an extra 20 percent on Airpoints.
The earned Airpoints will go towards their status, and Airpoint dollars can be redeemed for flights or used on the Airpoints store to purchase anything from favourite wines, electronics and outdoor experiences.
Unlike other Airpoints cards, Machell says that business owners can also choose to spend the Airpoints on their own business.
The card also gives customer access to benefits such as travel insurance, interest-free purchases, discount on Airpoints Koru membership and more.
Air New Zealand Airpoints and Westpac have worked closely together for a few years and offer a range of different cards allowing their customers to earn Airpoints.
