He adds that Northland is a hotspot for outdoor activities, making it easier for locals to purchase from the Torpedo7 selection.

The new Whangārei store will be one of 23 Torpedo7 stores nationwide.

The store has employed 25 members, including Store Manager Ryan Wooloff who says the team have been busy preparing and are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with customers.

Alongside the entire Torpedo7 range, the store will also feature a specialist onsite bike and snow workshop, gear repair, safety check and maintenance services.

Bike hire will also be available.
