In this episode of Kiwis in Business we’re joined by Wellingtonian Fliss Roberts, a millennial who is passionate about technology and sustainability.
With a desire to make sustainability more accessible for everyone, three years ago Roberts launched her own business PlantMe. She wanted to devise a system where everyone can take part and make meaningful action in climate change and be rewarded for that. PlantMe’s platform is free to use and they also offer a subscription service to help you get started and keep going on your vegetable garden growing journey, as well as a digital growing guide.
In this interview Roberts gives some environmentally-friendly growing techniques, tells how she was inspired to start this business by a six year old and her plans to take this business global.
