Wellington sports stars suit up and celebrate Tarocash’s first NZ Suiting Room

Leading Wellington sports stars are celebrating the opening of Tarocash’s first ever New Zealand Suiting Room, as the menswear brand introduces its new suiting range to the local market.

Marnie Mita and Kenneth Tuffin, members of the 2021 champion Wellington Saints basketball team and Hurricanes rugby player Reuben Love were among the first to experience the Suiting Room and try out the new suiting range, which includes on-trend styles, prints, and fabrics to fit with the lifestyle of modern, active men.

The Suiting Room is a VIP fitting and styling experience, where individuals or groups can enjoy a bespoke service and get kitted out in attire that suits their exact style and fit requirements.

The New Zealand market is particularly strong for Tarocash, with the Queensgate store its 13th to open here and the Suiting Room a symbol of confident investment into Wellington’s retail sector. NZ manager Lidean Erasmus, says the Kiwi market is performing solidly, and they’ve had an incredibly enthusiastic welcome from the region.

“There’s always been high demand for Tarocash suiting in Wellington, and it was a natural step to offer our customers this VIP experience,” she says.

“The Suiting Room has been in the works since November, so we’re excited to open the doors – and the bookings are already coming in, so there’s definite demand for the personalised service we’re offering.”

As well as offering individualised styling, the Suiting Room also includes a tailoring service, where suits are altered for the perfect fit (a point of difference Tarocash prides itself on), offering a stress-free experience from start to finish.

“Often guys miss out on the experience of getting professionally fitted and styled for a special occasion in a bespoke way. The Suiting Room makes it into a fun experience, either solo or with a group of mates, so everyone can put their best foot forward in the attire that suits and fits them best,” Erasmus says.

Customers can call or book in to experience the service at the Queensgate store. Tarocash also offers a military discount of 20% to active service personnel who show their military ID.
