Kiwi brand Compostic has launched into Woolworths, brining the best of home compostable cling film and resealable bags to the wider Australian region.
Since 2018, Compostic has been Kiwi’s favourite brand for 100 percent home compostable commodities such as cling wrap and resealable bags, offering them a new way to keep both their food and planet fresh.
Over the years the company has gained a handful of suppliers in Australia, but has now boosted that number by 480 with the inclusion of Woolworths.
Founder and CEO, Jon Reed, says Australia has always been an important market for the brand.
“Conscious consumerism across the region is increasing, and now more than ever these individuals are looking for better alternatives to plastic variants.
“We already know the market loves our products, so we’re excited to now be able to offer it to them at a mass scale.”
The world-first product is set to help more Australians on their journey to ditch plastic, and further promote the ease and accessibility of at-home composting.
Compostic Marketing Manager, Sarah Bonnefoy, says this mass product distribution comes at the perfect time for Plastic Free July.
“To connect with our customers we have to show them that we’re a business with a purpose. That purpose for us is reducing the amount of plastic we send to landfill each year.
“We’re also throwing a Plastic Free July event near the end of July, and can’t wait to help raise awareness of our mission and connect with our Compostic community in Australia.”
