Amazon Australia now open to NZ customers

Amazon Australia has announced that it will expand its services to customers in New Zealand.

The E-commerce powerhouse launched in 2017, and now Kiwis will be able to enjoy a faster delivery time thanks to Amazon warehouses located over the Tasman.

Delivery fees will start at $3.20, and Auckland and Christchurch areas will be able to opt for an expedited delivery for around $7.50.

This venture will help New Zealand businesses reach a wider range of the country by listing on Amazon Australia, and will allow Australian brands easier access to the New Zealand market.

Western Sydney’s latest robotic fulfilment centre is said to double Amazon’s operational footprint and Kiwi’s will be able to take advantage of this.

“We know that many New Zealand customers are already shopping on the US store and we are pleased to be offering them a faster option,” said Tony Austin, General Manager of Exports for Amazon.com.au.
