Little Island Coconut Creamery has teamed up with the experts at Millers Coffee to produce a delicious new Flat White ice cream.
The newest release combines the rich flavour of organic single origin coffee with the tried and true creaminess of coconut vanilla ice cream.
“Our coffee is fresh as when it’s first blended into our ice cream. In fact – it’s about 72 hours from roasted to frozen,” says Christian Holden, Little Island’s Operations Manager.
On day one, Millers roast the organic arabica beans; day two, they grind them; day three, it’s brewed and the finished product is created right away.
The launch of the Flat White ice cream was celebrated recently at The Goodside’s Fantail & Turtle Café in Takapuna, Auckland.
The Millers Coffee team were busy on the scoops. Alice Burton, who imports the coffee from East Timor, was hanging out with the crew from Living Wage and BioGro, and the whole Little Island gang, who create, make, share and grow Little Island on the daily, right here in Auckland.
“We are really proud of what we have accomplished, and it’s so special to have everyone who made this possible, here, celebrating our success together,” says Sarah Shipton, Little Island’s Brand Manager.
Little Island’s Flat White ice cream can be found at your local supermarket now.
