Beauty fanatics rejoice! On March 18, Sephora will open its doors to its second New Zealand store, this time at Sylvia Park.
The global beauty retailer first landed in New Zealand two years ago, and following a great response, has decided to expand. The second store will boast larger experiential spaces throughout and will introduce new brands, including Pat McGrath Labs, which launches exclusively with Sephora NZ.
General manager of Sephora Australia and New Zealand, Beth Glancey, says since opening the first bricks-and-mortar store in Auckland, the journey so far has been nothing short of exciting.
“We always knew that New Zealand would be a key market in building our beauty community and this year with our new brand positioning of My Beauty Power, we want to empower every individual to make the choice that works best for them.
“With the Sylvia Park store, we continue to create a seamless omnichannel journey as customers will now be able to test and try a lot more of our online assortment in a retail environment.”
Similar to the first store, customers can enjoy skincare consultations at the Skincare Table on the ground floor. They will also be able to enjoy consultations on the first floor at the Skincare Bar, nestled amongst luxury skincare brands. In addition, the new store also comes packed with makeup mirrors to allow for product trial and Beauty Studios for beauty touch and play.
From the 18th till the 21st March, customers are invited to join in on opening celebrations, including visiting the Sephora photo booth located outside the store. Shoppers can share their photo and tag @Sephoranz on Instagram for a chance to win a Sephora Collection lip vault valued at $685.
The first 100 customers on launch day to spend $150 will receive a Pat McGrath Labs Mothership Palette valued at $121.
The first 100 customers on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 March will receive a tarte High Tides & Good Vibes Mini H20 lip gloss set valued at $63.
On Sunday 21 March, customers who spend $150 will receive a Sephora makeup bag.
