Wellingtonians rejoice! A new lunchtime destination at 18 Willis Street is set to open its doors this week.
Previously known as the Grand Arcade precinct, 18 Willis Street has become the first of three interconnecting towers to undergo an incredible transformation. Now, the building’s first and second floors offer a dining and retail space with unexpected attention to every detail.
Visitors to the precinct will be delighted with a selection of some of the city’s most loved eateries like Viva Mexico, Puro Chile, Where’s Charlie, Noodle Plus, Golden Girl and Satay Me.
The glass annexe design will provide a light-filled space and views for visitors to dine and relax the hours away. An assortment of services are also on offer including a City Fitness gym, Tiny Voices childcare centre, Laser Clinics and Wildflower Florists.
Complimented with street art from local artists, the space’s urban feel matches that of Wellington’s, creating a vibe that is upscale but not uptight.
The office tower above has seen an enormous transformation that was completed in late 2020, with the first set of office occupants already making 18 Willis their home. More floors will be released to the market from July 2021.
