Transforming the cinema experience

A brand new HOYTS is set to open in the Ormiston Town Centre this March, offering movie-goers a unique take on the typical cinema outing.

The multi-million-dollar build boasts eight auditoriums and a range of exciting new features. Visitors will be super comfy in recliners with extra leg room and wider seating and will be blown away by the sound and picture inside the Xtremescreen auditoriums, perfect for the latest action blockbusters.

The classic popcorn and coke duo has been replaced with wine and gourmet pizza at HOYTS Ormiston. Artie’s Bar & Cafe provides the perfect pre or post movie meal, which you’re more than welcome to take with you into the theatre rooms for a mid movie munch. For the sweet-tooth, Treat City offers an immersive Candy Bar experience with an abundance of lollies to choose from.

CEO of The Hoyts Group, Damian King, says HOYTS is excited to further expand its cinema offering in New Zealand.

‘While we have seen plenty of challenges within the cinema industry in the last year, HOYTS Ormiston really showcases our commitment to the movie-going experience in Auckland’.

As a new build, Ormiston Town Centre is an exciting area to bring a quality entertainment experience. The cinema will open alongside the second phase of the town centre build this March. Guests are encouraged to like HOYTS Ormiston on Facebook for the latest updates and exclusive HOYTS Rewards offers.
