Creative expression advocate and actions sports brand Vans has chosen Westfield Newmarket for its first stand-alone retail offering in New Zealand. With a strong and loyal customer base in New Zealand, this summer is the right time for the brand to open a concept store.
The 120 square metre space pays homage to the brands’ 54 years of sports, art, music and street culture. It will offer the complete range of Vans footwear, apparel, and accessories across Men’s, Women’s and Youth, in addition to exclusive product only available at Vans Newmarket and vans.co.nz.
To commemorate the store’s opening, Vans is collaborating with artist and brand partner Jason Woodside to deliver three custom skateboard decks. The decks will be on display from Thursday 10 to Sunday 12 December. Vans fans can head in-store to scan the Jason Woodside QR code and sign-up to win one of the three decks!
Additionally, each day from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 December, the first 25 customers who head in store and spend $150 will receive a complimentary gift with purchase.
Vans is currently established in 97 countries through a network of subsidiaries, distributors and international offices, with 2,000 retail locations globally including owned, concession and partnership doors.
