New Zealand commercial real estate property manager Oyster has appointed Genevieve Taylor-Ford as its equity raising executive.
The company manages multiple Mitre 10, Dress-Smart, Countdown and shopping central locations in New Zealand, along with several retail, office and industrial assets. The properties under its management have a combined value of NZ$1.7 billion.
Joining the equity raising team, Taylor-Ford will be responsible for promoting and raising equity for the Oyster Property Group’s investment opportunities and property fund.
Taylor-Ford is entering her new role following seven years employment with Bayleys real estate where she held sales and leasing broker positions.
In 2019 she won the Bayleys Commercial and Industrial Rookie of the Year award as well as Overall Rookie of the Year award.
Oyster Property Group CEO Mark Schiele said, “I am confident that Genevieve will make a strong contribution to the team we have in place to deliver investment opportunities for the various funds Oyster creates.
“Driving the growth of our investor base and educating those new to Oyster on the breadth of our investment offering is crucial to the work that we do, and we’re pleased to Genevieve on board to lead this area for us.”
