Kathryn Wilson has extended some Christmas spirit to her long-time charity partner Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC). A collaboration with Wellington based Nope Sisters Label has seen the release of a limited-edition sweaters with part of the proceeds going to the charity.

100 pieces of the four colour-way sweaters will be available from today, with $50 from the RRP of $150 going to the RMHC.

The sweaters have been created in collaboration with the Nope Sisters Label, with the sweaters design based around the shoe designer’s catwalk shows.

Kathryn is an ambassador for RMHC New Zealand and has raised vital funds and created incredibly valuable awareness for a number of years through catwalk events and auctions in line with the outstanding charity.

“I’m always so pleased to work with Ronald McDonald House, we dreamt up the idea to partner with them for these limited-edition sweaters, after meeting Brittany from Nope Sisters Label at the AMP scholarship awards. Being able to contribute to giving children staying at a Ronald McDonald House and their families a Christmas experience or special treat is something we are honoured to support.”

Not only are the proceeds going towards the charity, but the items themselves are being supplied by ethical and sustainable Canadian manufacturer, Gildan, who were chosen for the project by Nope Sisters. Gildan have been taking giant steps in recent years to create sustainable processes and renewable energy sources as well as becoming an even more ethically focused business.
