The end of this month will see Natalie Davis step forward as managing director of Woolworths New Zealand and Countdown.
Previously in the role of chief customer transformation officer for the Woolworths Group, David will replace Dave Chambers who is set to step away end of June.
Davis, who also currently leads the groups Voice of Customer programme, says she is looking forward to stepping into the new position on July 2.
“I have been lucky to have worked with the New Zealand team over the past few years and it has been a real pleasure getting to know the team here. The genuine passion towards putting Kiwi customers first, pride in their work and focus on culture is core to our future success,” says Davis.
CEO of Woolworths Group, Brad Banducci, says Davis’ key role in transition the business in the last few years made her perfect for the position.
“I know that Natalie will build on the strong foundations already established at Countdown. The transformation of our New Zealand business is underway, and Natalie is well placed to further build on this with the current leadership team,” says Banducci.
