The Newmarket Business Awards have swung back around for 2018. The awards this year feature a fresh line up of well deserving finalists based in the Newmarket area.
Want to know where to get the best flat white in Newmarket? How about what stores will give you the best customer experience? Or maybe who you should follow for the ultimate retail Instagram feed?
Well we’ve got you covered on all of that and more with the reveal of Newmarket’s Business Awards finalists.
Newmarket’s annual competition gets together New Zealand’s most prominent business leaders and influencers to judge the best and the brightest retailers in the area.
With a judging panel featuring experts like Andy Hamilton (Icehouse), Anthony Hoy Fong (Celebrity Chef), Sarah Dunn (NZ Retail Magazine and The Register) and Michael Barnett (Auckland Chamber of Commerce) it’s safe to say the awards list was in safe hands.
NBA’s CEO Mark Knoff-Thomas said the event was a great way to recognize the 1,400 businesses and 20,000 employees in the Newmarket area.
“These awards are our annual celebration of their success,” he said.
While the announcement gives finalists something to celebrate this week, it isn’t time to pop the champagne quite yet. Finalists will find out whether they are the best of the best at the awards gala on June 14, where winners of the People’s Choice and Supreme Winner awards, as well as top in category will be announced.
So, if you’ve got an eye for quality retail, or just know a good customer experience when you see one, head over to www.newmarket.co.nz before midnight June 3, vote for the People’s Choice award and go into win a ticket to the gala event at the Cordis Hotel.
