Goody loyalty programme launches new app

Loyalty programme provider, Goody, has launched its new voucher app which could save Kiwi consumers up to $10,000.

Loyalty programme provider, Goody, has launched its new voucher app which could save Kiwi consumers up to $10,000.

The app says Kiwi can save up to $10,000 in entertainment and services by allowing members to download hundreds of deals across entertainment, dining, accommodation, pharmacy and beauty.

The current total value of the deals loaded on the app is at $10,000.

Goody founder Gorran Marusich says, “expanding the app to include digital vouchers means Kiwis can now also save money while visiting the retailers they love.”

Goody loyalty launched in 2014 and saw success long the same lines of the popular Entertainment Book which also launched an app early last year. Unlike Goody, the Entertainment book (or app) costs around $65 for a years subscription, where as Goody is free to join. However it should be noted that $13 of each sale goes towards the SPCA.

Goody encourages consumers to earn points for rewards, rather than just buying rewards like the Entertainment Book. This ensures returning business as they unlock coupons for specific retailers that they show the most loyalty too.

Similar to the Entertainment Book app, customers of Goody can download vouchers for services and keep track of how much money they have saved using the app.

“Around 500 deals are already on offer across 350 businesses, with more deals getting added daily,” Marusich says.

Goody loyalty currently has 550,000 members, with membership growing by about 3500 per week, according to the company.

Goody, which consist of only seven staff, have a target of one million members within the next year. With the added bonus of pre-existing members being able to dispose of their physical cards it is a positive outlook for the brand.

Marusich says the free to all programme also benefits retailers as they have the platform to drive new business by offering discounts.

The business that are associated with Goody include Best Ugly Bagels, Lumino, Kelly Tarlton’s, STA Travel and over 300 other retailers around Auckland alone.
