Lower North Island retailers have claimed their spaces as nominees for the 2017 Top Shop Awards, retailers from Wellington, Whanganui and Hawke’s Bay have been named.
More than 600 entries were received nationwide, and through those 21 were chosen to represent at the awards held at the event evening held in Auckland early September.
“Retail is a tough business and it requires employees with special skills across a number of areas to be successful,” says Greg Harford, Retail NZ’s general manager for public affairs.
“It’s great to see businesses from right across the lower North Island making the cut and being named as national finalists.”
Now that the South Island category is complete the nominations are moving up towards the north, drawing closer to the finial gala dinner which will be held early September.
