EStar, Australia’s largest ecommerce solutions provider, is behind the change of the furniture chain finally making onto the digital market.

The new strategy includes Freedom’s 11 New Zealand based stores meaning shipping options will expand out to areas surrounding.

The website includes previous customer reviews and the website recommends complementary products based on learned customer behaviours.

By developing industry specific freight metrics in partnership with Freedom, eStar’s solution provides greater certainty for customers at the checkout that their preferred item is in stock and will be delivered within the stated timeframe.

Debbie Ridling, Managing Director of Freedom NZ says outstanding collaboration from both parties is key to providing customers with a great online experience.

In a time when homewares are becoming more in demand, several large retailers have come into the spotlight. With Kmart’s online site, the addition on Aiders Homeware and the general request for IKEA to grace our shores, this change for Freedom signifies their reluctance to be overshadowed.

More recently, retailers are expected to have a digital arm to stay relevant with consumer demands, and although Freedom Furniture comes in late to the game their good reputation will no doubt carry across to their online platform.
