Data and visualisation service IBM Watson Analytics has launched a new mobile app intended to ‘expand and extend retail experience’.
Watson Analytics is a smart data analysis and visualisation service on the cloud that helps just about anyone quickly discover patterns and meanings in their data – all on their own.
Now the popular site has launched a new app for business after just two years of being open since the addition of Dewan Housing and Siemens Finance as clients.
Retailers are jumping on the global trend of monitoring customer data to customise marketing strategies. The app lets retailers see deeper into customer habits and trends, and allows then to use that data to customise marketing and campaign strategies.
Elcenora Martinez, Director, Offering Management, Watson Analytics, Watson Analytics for Social Media stated that the mobile app will help users find immediate answers.

The app allows to retailers to upload data directly into Watson Analytics, just by adding questions into the app it supplier’s owners with instant results and insights into their own business.
Launched end of last year, the app already has just over 5000+ users internationally.
