Dance diva Parris Goebel helps NZ Post promote its parcel delivery options

NZ Post and Clemenger BBDO called on hip-hop dancer and choreographer Parris Goebel and her crew of dancers for its new ‘My Parcels, My Way’ campaign, promoting its flexible range of parcel delivery options.

The 60-second TVC, directed by Campbell Hooper, features the New Zealand-born dance star talking to the camera and leading her procession of Royal Family dancers.
Goebel talks about the different delivery options, including parcel leave and parcel redirect, that give people more choice about how, where and when parcels are delivered.
NZ Post’s marketing communications manager Jean Mowday says people don’t want to wait around for parcels to turn up.

“NZ Post’s parcel delivery options put Kiwis in control of how they receive their parcels. That means fewer missed deliveries, and a better all-round experience.”

Goebel was chosen because her hectic schedule and demanding personality made her the perfect spokesperson and Clemenger BBDO executive creative director Brigid Alkema says she represents consumers’ expectations of today’s world: control, choice and immediacy.

“She also just so happens to be one of the best choreographers in the world. She’s a great new voice for the ‘You can’ brand platform and we were stoked to work with her and her team.”

‘My Parcels, My Way’ follows last year’s TVC, which saw UK actor Charles Dance playing on the Kiwi can-do attitude by running through some ideas before saying: “You can”. It helped shift the country’s perceptions of the NZ Post brand from an old world postal service to a modern logistics and digital services provider.
