Sovereign’s new loyalty programme lets consumers spend points with retailers

Up to 10 ‘Healthy Points’ per week can be achieved by shopping at New World for fresh, healthy food. Other point-earning activities include taking a yearly online wellness assessment, worth 200 points, and working out with one of Sovereign’s gym partners. Members can get up to $100 cash-back each year and up to $125 in gym vouchers.

The programme also includes a range of savings and special deal offers from the commercial partners.

Sovereign chief marketing and strategy officer Chris Lamers says Healthy by Sovereign will change the way Kiwis interact with their health cover.

“Healthy by Sovereign is changing the face of the health insurance industry. Now you don’t have to claim on your health insurance policy to enjoy the benefits. Every time you work out at the gym, get moving with an activity tracker, do a fresh grocery shop, or get a check-up at your dentist or doctor, you’ll be rewarded for it.

“The programme has been designed to motivate and support Kiwis on their health journey and help create a healthier nation as a whole. You don’t have to make big changes to start earning Healthy Points. Just make a few healthy choices and watch your points grow. How far you go and how much you earn is up to you,” says Lamers.

The full list of Healthy by Sovereign partners is: Club Physical, Configure Express, Fitbit, Foreverfit.TV, Garmin, Habit, Jetts, Next Gen, New World, Noel Leeming, Xtend Barre, Studio 3, Synergy Health.
