The two-minute clip features Jono, Ben and the crew making their way around the supermarket promoting different items including “lamb racks, Tic Tacs, two for one Kit Kats”.
They even throw in a plug about Countdown offering “cheap fuel on receipt”.
Previous parodies have seen the pair sing about the Rugby World Cup final to the tune of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and replace Taylor Swift’s song lyrics in “Bad Blood” with “dad bods”.
It’s also not the first time Jono and Ben have used Countdown in their skits. In a “Next Actor” skit, actor Robbie Magasiva took on the role of a checkout operator and took instruction from Jono and Ben to behave as badly as possible including eating the food and stealing money.
