An act of retail activism

Time Out Bookstore created this display in response to the banning of award-winning young adult book “Into the River” by the Film and Literature Board. It is now illegal to sell or display the book in New Zealand, so Time Out has put it in a paper bag at the centre of the display. The other books have all been deemed offensive or banned in various countries and eras. If you’ve got or seen a great store display, why not show it off on The Register? Just email a picture and a short explanation of the store to sarah.dunn@tangiblemedia.co.nz
