IdealogLive’s next event features Dry & Tea’s Amy Sznicer

NZ Retail Magazine’s issue 737 cover girl and Dry & Tea owner Amy Sznicer is the guest speaker at Idealog’s Idealog Live event on Tuesday 28 July. Sznicer will be sharing her expertise about leadership, high-experience and the retail business.

The night will include great whiskey, delectable finger food and the inspirational story behind Sznicer’s journey.

She worked her way up the retail ranks at the likes of Sportsgirl, Bras N Things and Glassons, before starting the award-winning blow dry bar and tea house salon chain, Dry & Tea.

Sznicer is a passionate and dynamic speaker, with a lot to say about her career progression and how she founded one of the most popular hair salon chains in Auckland.

Despite no longer working at a traditional retail company of sorts, she says she’ll probably always consider herself a retailer.

“[I’m] extremely passionate about careers in retail, because they can be as lucrative and wonderful as any other,” she told NZ Retail Magazine.

As well as Sznicer talking, the event has a round of Dragon Den-style voting as entrepreneurs vie for the crowd’s affection to win real money and to be featured in Idealog Magazine.

The event will be held at The Sapphire Room, Ponsonby Central, 4 Brown Street, Ponsonby, Auckland on Tuesday 28 July.

Arrive at 6pm and mingle for a bit; kick off is at 6.30pm.
