Fast fashion documentary to screen at same time as H&M opening

A documentary that takes a critical look at the state of the fast fashion industry is being shown at Sylvia Park on the day of H&M’s opening. However, the event organisers say the screening isn’t a protest. Instead, they say wanted to provoke a thoughtful, wider conversation around the retailer’s opening.

Kiwi Property’s profits soar as H&M and Zara’s opening is imminent

As the opening of Zara and H&M at Sylvia Park draws closer, the company responsible for bringing them to New Zealand has made a record profit. Kiwi Property made $250.8 million in the year to March 31, an increase of 118 percent on last year’s profit of $115.2 million. Plus: The company reveals when the Zara and H&M stores will open this year.
