Retail NZ’s famous Top Shop Retail Awards are back and better than ever. The 2017 awards have been revamped to focus on retailers do, rather than what they sell, and feature new categories such as a customer experience award. All retailers are eligible for entry, not just Retail NZ members.

New GST rules missing a vital component, Retail NZ says

New GST legislation for digital services comes into effect tomorrow in New Zealand, but Booksellers NZ and Retail NZ are critical of it. They say while this is good news for big players like Sky TV, the Government is missing the opportunity to collect revenue from low-value goods bought online.
