Fashion forward: Zara announces online shopping in New Zealand

Fashion favourite, Zara, has announced its latest plan for New Zealand customers; online shopping.

Zara has announced its latest plan for New Zealand customers, online shopping.

The fashion giant, owned by Inditex, has set up an online shopping channel for Kiwis, which is set to go live in March 14 this year.

Now all of New Zealand can be a part of the fashion scene without having to make a trip to Sylvia Park, which opened a Zara 2016 to crowds of over 300 people.

The online site so far only says ‘Dear New Zealand, Shop Online coming soon’. With the hashtag #dearnewzealand.

Parent company Inditex has continued to roll out its global fully integrated store and online platform, with the Spanish group last year opening outlets in 52 markets during the period. Its store count reached 7504 in 94 markets at the end of October.

In its latest trading update, net sales for the nine months to October last year reached €17.96 billion (NZD$30.34 billion), up 10 percent.

Zara has yet to announce any details surrounding the site yet.
